Glock Aimpoint COA Pistols: Availability Update for September 2025
September 4, 2025

Glock’s Aimpoint COA (Carry Optic) “A-Cut” pistols have been hot all year—and consumer supply just got tighter. If you’re hunting one down, expect limited availability and move fast when you find stock.
On August 11, 2025, industry reporting indicated Glock is reining in consumer sales of its A-Cut pistols bundled with Aimpoint’s COA optic, after a year of strong demand and finite inventory. The lineup launched in January across the G43X, G48, G19 Gen5, G45, and G47, pairing a wedge-mounted COA in Glock’s proprietary A-Cut that met the company’s 40,000-round endurance standard. An exclusive Glock–Aimpoint agreement is also expected to run into early 2026.
What’s New
- Consumer availability is tightening: Remaining dealer stock may be finite while Glock prioritizes other channels; the models aren’t discontinued, but they’re tougher to snag right now.
- Supported models: G43X, G48, G19 Gen5, G45, and G47 were the primary COA/A-Cut launches in 2025.
- Mounting & durability: The COA uses a wedge system for reduced optic shift and was validated to Glock’s 40k-round standard.
Why It Matters
For buyers who want a factory-paired dot with low deck height and easy co-witness, these COA builds are unicorns. If you see one in the wild, treat it like the last rib at a tailgate.
Plan B: Consider optics-ready semi auto pistols with proven aftermarket dots, or look at Glock MOS models while COA supply is tight. If you’re brand-loyal, browse our Glock brand page for current models and specs.
