Smith & Wesson just pulled the wraps off the S&W Shield X, a slim, subcompact 9mm that adds modern features—optic-ready slide, higher capacity, and an accessory rail—without losing that easy-to-carry Shield profile. If you liked the Shield Plus, this feels like the grown-up version that ate its veggies and hit the gym.
